Microwave: Servings: 1 Serving; Stovetop: 1 serving; 4 servings; 6 servings; Microwave: Water: 1 Serving; Stovetop: 1-1/2 cups; 4-1/4 cup; 6-1/4 cups; Microwave: Water: 1 Serving; Stovetop: 1-1/2 cups; 4-1/4 cup; 6-1/4 cups; Microwave: Grits : 1/4 cup; Stovetop: 1/4 cups; 1 cup; 1-1/2 cups; Microwave: Salt( Optional) : pinch; Stovetop: pinch ; 1/4 cup; 1/2 tsp. Stovetop Directions :(1) Heat water to a boil in saucepan. (2) Stir in grits and salt; return to boil. (3) Cover, simmer over low low heat for 5 minutes, cook longer or shorter for thinner or thicker grits. Please use caution when preparing grits by either method. Oven safe mitts are recommended. Microwave directions (I serving): (1) Combine water, grits and salt in a 4 cup microwave-side bowl according to chart above for I serving only.
